Choose your language journey
Open the lessons, practice and level tests that have passed EkGuru's publication checks. Complete courses are labelled A1–C2; partial courses show only the levels that are actually available. Research-only languages are not listed here. Progress stays on your own device.
New: All courses are now at /learn/ — one hub for every language, topic guides and practice tools.
How published course content is checked
Each available level has authored lessons and a level test; missing levels stay unpublished.
Start with the script
A1 opens with the alphabet and counting — each letter with its sound, its romanisation and stroke order to copy.
Say it from lesson one
Vocabulary and dialogue carry a romanisation on every line, so a total beginner can speak before they can read.
Then prove it
Five or more practice types per lesson, a worksheet, and a ten-item level test before the next level opens.
Collection I — first release
Collection II — second release
The published A1 → C2 ladder
Complete courses publish all six levels. Partial courses stop at their last authored and tested level; later levels stay unavailable until they pass the same checks.
Alphabet, sounds, numbers and 200 core words — the level where you stop being a stranger to the language.
Everyday sentences: family, food, shopping, travel, and the present and past tenses that carry them.
Real conversation. Opinions, plans, complaints and stories — with listening practice at natural speed.
Longer texts, subordinate clauses and register. You read a news paragraph and summarise it in your own words.
Nuance: idioms, implied meaning, argument and style. Idiom interpretation and discourse ordering start here.
Mastery work — paraphrase, guided composition and style rewriting, measured against the level test.
Pick by purpose, not just by name
Whatever brought you here, there is a route that starts today.

Five questions, then a starting point — so you are not re-reading A1 when you already speak.
