Lessons are online and one to one, so the tutor's location does not limit you — but yours does affect the hours that work and the price in your own money. These pages show both, worked out for each place.
The lesson is online, so the tutor being in India and you being in Toronto changes nothing about the teaching. Two things it does change:
The hours. Every tutor here teaches from India, so their evening is your morning or your afternoon depending on where you are. Each page below works out the overlap for that place, so you can see at a glance whether the times suit you before you read a single profile.
The price in your money. Prices are set in dollars and converted at today's real rate, not a number typed in last year. A lesson that costs $6 is shown to you in rupees, euros, pounds or dirhams as appropriate, so you are not doing arithmetic to work out what you are spending.
They are not claims to have a tutor sitting in your city. We would rather say that plainly than let you find out after booking. Every tutor on EkGuru lives in India and teaches online — which, for learning Hindi, is the point: you are being taught by somebody who uses the language every day rather than whoever happens to be available locally.
