Hindi tutors on EkGuru

A plain text listing of every tutor. Use the searchable version for filters and instant search.

Every tutor below is a native Hindi speaker teaching one to one over video call. There are no group classes, no recorded courses and no subscription — you book a lesson with a person, and if it does not suit you after the trial, nothing has been committed.

Prices are per lesson and shown in US dollars here; on the site they convert to your own currency at today's rate. The tutors set their own prices and keep them, which is why they are not all the same.

How to read this page

Each entry gives the price per lesson, the lesson length, the levels the tutor teaches and where they are based. Click a name for the full profile: the subjects they cover, how they teach, their weekly availability converted to your timezone, and any reviews from real students.

Choosing between them

If you are a complete beginner, look for "Beginner" in the levels and for a tutor who mentions the Devanagari script — starting with the alphabet is the part people skip and then regret. If you already speak some Hindi and want to stop hesitating, look for conversational practice instead.

Price is worth the least attention of anything here. The difference between the cheapest and the dearest tutor on this page is a few dollars a lesson; the difference between a tutor you look forward to and one you do not is whether you are still learning in three months.

More free Hindi

You do not need a tutor to start. The free guides cover the alphabet, numbers, verbs, family words and travel phrases. The questions section answers what people actually ask, and the name tool writes any name in Devanagari.
