Uzbekistan's historical links with India run through the Mughals, whose founder came from Fergana, and that connection is still felt culturally. Bollywood has had an enormous Uzbek audience for decades. Uzbek speakers get two structural advantages: the language is verb-final with postpositions, so Hindi's sentence shape needs no adjustment, and Uzbek's Persian vocabulary layer overlaps substantially with Hindi's. Most learners have also acquired both Cyrillic and Latin scripts, which makes Devanagari an ordinary task rather than a barrier.

Two honest caveats. That figure uses standard time and ignores daylight saving, which moves it by an hour for part of the year in many countries; and some countries span several zones. Devanagari is easy to get slightly wrong when it is typed by hand — a missing matra, the wrong nukta. If something here looks off to you, trust a native speaker over this page and please tell us so it gets fixed — it takes a moment and a real person reads it. Romanised spellings are a guide to the sound, not a standard: there is no single official way to write Hindi in Latin letters.
