Slovak brings six live cases to Hindi, which is the most useful thing a European language can give you here — after a lifetime of case endings, Hindi's postpositions stop being grammar and start being obvious. को and से do exactly what your endings do, just as separate words. Slovak's verb aspect pairs also map cleanly onto Hindi's completed and continuing forms, which is a distinction English handles badly and Slovak handles daily. Slovakia's interest in Hindi comes mostly through yoga, Indian film and a growing business relationship. The new work is aspiration and the retroflex series, neither of which Slovak distinguishes.
