Stations start journeys: रेल्वे स्टेशन (railway station), बस स्टॉप (bus stop), विमानतळ (airport). स्टेशन कुठे आहे? (where is the station?) — ask anyone; Marathis direct travellers with pride.
Tickets buy passage: तिकीट (ticket) — एक तिकीट द्या (give one ticket), तिकीट किती? (how much?). गाडी कधी येईल? (when will the train come?) — गाडी means both train and car; context steers.
