Simple sentences stack three blocks: میں اسکول جاتا ہوں (I — to-school — go), وہ گیت گاتی ہے (she — song — sings), ہم اردو سیکھتے ہیں (we — Urdu — study). Subject, object, verb — build a hundred of these and Urdu skeleton is yours.
Animals make perfect practice: لڑکا ہنستا ہے (the boy laughs), کتا بھونکتا ہے (the dog barks), بلی سوتی ہے (the cat sleeps). Short subjects, vivid verbs, zero ambiguity — describe every creature you meet and SOV becomes reflex.
Time flexes the frame: میں کل آؤں گا (I'll come tomorrow), گذشتہ کل بارش ہوئی (it rained yesterday). Time words float — front for emphasis, middle for flow — while the verb holds the end. Tense plus time word: past, present, future, mastered.
Identity and questions close the set: یہ میرا گھر ہے (this is my house), یہ تیری کتاب ہے؟ (is this your book?), سب ٹھیک ہے (all is well). Equate with یہ/وہ, question with rising tone, reassure with سب ٹھیک ہے — sentences for every situation.

Questions learners ask
Subject-Object-Verb: میں کتاب پڑھتا ہوں (I book read). Endings mark roles, so order flexes for emphasis — but verb-last is home.
Tense lives on the verb, with gender: پڑھتا/پڑھتی (read-present), پڑھا (read-past), پڑھوں گا (will read). Time words — گذشتہ کل، آج، کل — frame it; the verb carries it.
Rise at the end: یہ تیری کتاب ہے؟ (is this your book?). Question words — کیا، کہاں، کون — sit where the answer would.
